Fresh from igniting Australian dance floors in Sydney super-club Marquee, Super Square, which includes DJ Jimmy Hits, producer A_Rival, and vocalist Helen Eugene, produced this track as a high-energy answer to the space between the lyrical candy of radio pop and aggressive EDM sounds. “We wrote a hook describing attachment to a person (figurative or otherwise) who is actively hurting you, yet you can’t seem to voluntarily set yourself free from their influence, and once we wrote the hook, the rest of the song came really quickly.” says the band. “The upbeat, danceable sound channeled the feeling of gathering your strengths by admitting to your weaknesses.”
